  • Analyzed and synthesized qualitative data, established key findings, and prepared summary reports for national and international clients receiving certified professional facilitation services for workshops, annual general meetings, and strategic and operational planning.  

Occupational Therapist | Vancouver Coastal Health | North Vancouver & Vancouver, BC

Aug ’18 – Aug ’21

  • Worked directly with clients to identify physical/cognitive/social/emotional barriers to their daily functioning and create, implement, and adapt treatment plans to support their return to function. 
  • Enabled complex discharges from hospitals in partnership with clients, families, and interdisciplinary team members, to best address the competing needs and priorities of all stakeholders.
  • Identified a key workflow inefficiency relating to mobility aids in the emergency department and implemented a new protocol to optimize the use of resources and limit preventable overnight stays.
  • Adapted to various settings and roles, bringing a reliable, team-oriented approach to various units including Orthopedics, Emergency Department, Quick Response Team, and Dementia Care.

  • Assisted in study design, implementation, and data processing for the Cognition and Action Laboratory.
  • Acted as primary research assistant for MRI studies and created corresponding digital brain models.
